Dr. Beatrice Wang graduated from McGill Medical School and completed her residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She completed a fellowship in basic research in the field of Skin Aging at Boston University, Boston, USA. Upon her return to Montreal, she also completed a year of basic research in Skin Aging at the Lady Davis Institute, Jewish General Hospital, Montreal. Dr. Wang accepted a full-time geographic position at the McGill University Health Centre, a post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, McGill University, and is also cross-appointed to the Department of Oncology. She is presently situated at the Carey Wang Centre for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery in Montreal, Canada.
Her main interests are cosmetic procedures and skin rejuvenation, dermatologic surgery, Moh's surgery and other cancer surgeries, and clinical research.
Dr. Wang has been since 2005 the Director of the Melanoma Clinic, a multi-disciplinary clinic at the Royal Victoria Hospital, which has one of the largest numbers of patients in Canada. She is also supervising PhD students at McGill University conducting research in the field of melanoma, and lecturing at the Medical School and at the graduate level at McGill.
Dr. Wang is Vice-President of Siena Medical Research Corporation, a company involved in clinical trials. She is also a consultant for other clinical trials involved in developing new therapies for melanoma, and multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Wang is very active with educational forums for the general public. She is frequently quoted in the press, magazines, and interviewed on television and radio, on the subjects of skin care, sun protection, skin cancer, and skin rejuvenation.
